Room had a comfy king bed 🛏️. The spot was convenient, just a 10-15 minute stroll from Community Field. Plus, it's near important attractions.

Low budget hotel with very very helpful and attentive staff. Magnificent setting in the really comfortable area, near to wonderful Burlington, IA and another restaurant and water park. Also, easy access to Huck's Harbor Water Park. The poolside bar onsite.

The breakfast offered a good selection. The air conditioner was quiet and easy to use. The furnishings and decor had a fresh, modern feel. The staff were friendly.

Booked a room weeks ahead of time through Booked.net. Something came up and I was going to be unable to use the room on the scheduled night. Yes I knew it was non-refundable, but I called the hotel anyway to see if I could change the date. Whoever answered the phone (obviously not trained well), told me I could actually cancel it. I thought "Great, that'll save some trouble". 2 days before scheduled stay, the money was taken out of my account. Spoke with hotel manager the next day and she told me their policy about charging anyways. I asked why her staff told me I could cancel the room without letting me know i'd still pay for it. She said i needed to speak with Booked.net. I asked why I couldn't simply, as a courtesy, get a room since I had already paid for one. She was VERY rude and said I would need to contact corporate...EXACTLY what I plan to do!!

Great location for strolling around the Funcity Amusement Complex. This place has a cozy family vibe 🏠. Also, enjoyed tasty breakfast with fresh apples 🍎.

Our recent stay at a hotel in burlington , but this time at howard johnson exceeded our expectations. the front desk staff were helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient for skiing. we were pleasantly surprised by our experience at howard johnson.

Pool was terrific for the family. Did like the biscuits and gravy.

Had issues with cleanliness and smells in the rooms. Too bad because it made it hard on those of us with breathing/heart issues. Problem with shower not working in one of our rooms.
